(1) 农历月朔前后月见于东方 [new moon be seen in the east]

朒朒警阙。 --谢庄《月赋》

(2) 又如: 朒朒(农历月初月见于东方和月末月见于西方)

(3) 亏缺, 不足 [insufficiency; deficite; lose]。 如: 朒数(稍小于正数之数); 朒缩(退缩)

(4) 扭, 折伤 [sprain; wrench]

有几个朒翻了的, 也有闪朒腿的, 爬得起来, 奔命走出庙门。 --《水浒传》
